Wednesday 11 June 2010Love, civil unions and relationship agreements - to have or not to have a civil union?Hear from a panel of 3-4 women from our community. Lisa Gerrard will provide a legal perspective on relationship agreements, and we'll hear from other women about their take on whether or not to take the plunge!!
Saturday 24 July 2010The alba midwinter Christmas dinner - we're looking forward to our very successful mid winter dinner, and hope you are too! Tickets will be available at the June meeting. Details coming soon.Please remember: there is no Wednesday alba meeting in July.
11 August 2010Join alba for an election special!! What does the super city have in store for Auckland? What could we wake up to after the Auckland local government elections in early October? Will it make any difference to our community? Hear from a panel of 3-4 women in our community about their take on the government's Auckland reforms, the elections, and what it could mean for us. Plus - would you like to be on the alba committee? We're looking for some new members to join some of those who're open to staying! Have fun, and influence what happens. Elections are held at the alba AGM during September's meeting. You may like to talk with a committee member to find out more.

Is there someone who's beavered away in our community, someone who leads, or helps out that you'd like to celebrate, someone who's survived despite discrimination, adversityΣ Join with us in helping make this a night to remember. Come along and celebrate women in our community. Alba's responded to the feedback on the alba awards proposal, by developing a meeting to acknowledge, enjoy and affirm our community.
